Foxes ‘keeper wanted by Premier League duo.
Leicester City goalkeeper Kasper Schmeichel is set to be the subject of a tug of war this summer as Swansea and Premier League new boys Hull both want him to join, The Mirror reports.
The Danish international was part of the Leicester side that narrowly missed out on a playoff final spot against Watford last week has been tipped to move on this summer after reportedly admitting that he wants to play in the top flight.
Swansea have said to be taking an interest in case current number one Michel Vorm is tempted to move elsewhere despite claiming that he wants to stay at the club whilst Hull have goalkeeping issues of their own.
The Championship runners up have had Fulham’s on loan custodian David Stockdale between the sticks this season, and though they’d hoped a permanent deal could be struck to keep him on Humberside, that now looks increasingly difficult as the west Londoners want over £4 million.
However, Bruce is determined to land a top class goalkeeper as he is making the position his number one priority as they prepare for life back in the big time and have Schmeichel at the top of a list of suitable candidates.
