Swansea City have not received any offers for Ashley Williams.
Swansea City have not received any offers from Arsenal for defender Ashley Williams, according to the Metro.
The 28-year-old centre-back has been linked with a move away from the Liberty Stadium after an impressive couple of seasons in the Premier League, catching the attention of both Arsenal and Liverpool.
Both sides are looking at a number of options as they look to strengthen their back fours this summer, as they face losing key personnel before next season.
Arsenal may sell Thomas Vermaelen after a recent poor run of form that saw him dropped from the side by Arsene Wenger. Laurent Koscielny is also reportedly a target for Bayern Munich.
Meanwhile, Liverpool need a replacement for the retiring Jamie Carragher, and may also consider selling Martin Skrtel in the upcoming transfer window.
Williams also recently said he had not spoken to anyone about a transfer, and it seems interest in the Welshman may have cooled for now, with Arsenal also chasing Valencia centre-back Adil Rami.
Williams was a key member of Swansea’s Capital One Cup winning side this season, leading the team out against Bradford City at Wembley.
