Emirates Stadium side keen on Old Trafford wide-man.
Arsenal are readying a £15m bid for Man United winger Nani according to the Daily Star.
The 26 year old Portuguese international may well be surplus to requirements at Old Trafford and could well be tempted by a move to Arsenal this summer. Arsene Wenger is keen to strengthen his attack and may feel that the Man United wide-man still has the potential to re-ignite a career that has been in free-fall for the past 18 months.
Nani managed just seven Premier League starts this season and may find his chances further limited in 2013/14 with Wilfried Zaha coming in from Crystal Palace and already finds himself behind Ashley Young and Luis Antonio Valencia in the Man United pecking order.
Arsene Wenger has a number of wide attacking option in his Gunners squad including the likes of Lukas Podolski, Theo Walcott, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Gervinho, as well as youngster Ryo Miyaichi but the Arsenal boss may feel that Nani is a superior option worth considering.
It took a while for Nani to come out of the shadow of national team colleague Cristiano Ronaldo and for a spell he manage to do so, being particularly effective in the 2010/11 Premier League title campaign but it seems that his career began to slide once he was left out of the Champions League Final starting eleven in that season against Barcelona and he has struggled for consistency ever since.
Nani has over 200 appearances for Man United since his move to the club from Sporting Lisbon back in June 2007.
