Colombian has no intention of leaving.
Inter Milan midfielder Freddy Guarin has stated his desire to stay at the club and firmly believes he will still be there next season, Sky Sports reports.
The 26-year-old played over 30 games for the Italian giants last season and has recently been linked with a move to Tottenham Hotspur, but he has moved to brush off the speculation by stating that he will still be in Milan next season.
“I won’t be leaving, I will be staying at Inter,” he said.
“I still have a lot to learn and I only joined Inter about a year ago. Inter are a great club with a great squad. I am playing my football in Milan with the intention of making history.”
Inter president Massimo Moratti also chipped in by claiming that he is pleased to hear the Colombian’s desire to play for the blue-and-black shirt.
“It’s good that he says he will stay. There are a number of clubs interested in him but he is one that we want to keep,” he told the club’s official website.
Guarin became a household name during a four-year stretch with Porto, and he moved to Inter, on loan at first in January last year to replace Thiago Motta who had just joined PSG.
