The Spanish under 21 star could leave the Bernabeu if another attacker is brought in.
Alvaro Morata has said that he could leave Real Madrid this summer if the club sign another striker according to Goal.com.
The 20 year old has been one of the stars of the under 21 European Championship in Israel, scoring 3 goals for the much fancied Spanish side.
Morata has found it much harder to play first team football for Real Madrid and despite Gonzalo Higuain’s expected departure this summer, the striker doesn’t think he will get many more playing opportunities next season.
“It depends on the circumstances whether I will stay at Madrid’s first team. If another striker is brought in, I will have to think about what’s best for me and consider leaving the club,” said Morata when asked about his future at Madrid.
The Spanish giants have been linked with moves for Tottenham winger Gareth Bale and Napoli striker Edison Cavani and should Madrid sign one of those players, Morata may be forced to look elsewhere for first team football.
Madrid look set to up their interest in both those players soon and the club have already been in contact with Cavani’s representatives.
Morata currently has two years left on his contract at the Bernabeu and it is unknown whether the Spanish giants will want to let one of their most promising young players leave the club this summer.
