Zlatan Ibrahimovic will be staying at Paris St Germain for at least one more season, the players agent has said.

Goal.com reports that Ibrahimovic will be staying with the French champions even if current manger Carlo Ancelotti leaves to join Real Madrid as is expected.

Speculation had mounted that the Swedish star could be on his way back to Italy, with former club Juventus set to welcome the striker back.

However, the players agent Mino Raiola has stressed that Ibrahimovic is happy in Paris and is willing to stay with the club for the time being.

“Zlatan will continue next year. He is very happy in Paris,” Raiola said. “He won the title, he scored goals, he did his job, he did what he had to do and what he had promised.”

PSG manager Carlo Ancelotti is expected to replace Jose Mourinho at Real Madrid this summer and even though the Italian’s departure would affect Ibrahimovic, it won’t dictate where he plays football next season.

The striker played a vital role in PSG’s march towards their first Ligue 1 title since 1994, scoring 43 goals in all competitions.

Meanwhile, Ancelotti continues to be frustrated by the slow progress PSG are making in finding his replacement.

The Italian can’t take over at Real Madrid until the French club have found a replacement for him.
