Bendtner will not be moving to the German club this summer.
German club Borussia Monchengladbach are not interested in signing Arsenal striker Nicklaus Bendtner according to Sky Sports.
The Dane is set to leave Arsenal this month and has been attracting interest from a host of clubs throughout Europe.
One of those clubs will not be Borussia Monchengladbach, with the clubs scout Ove Flindt-Berg insisting that the club are not interested in the Dane.
“We do not look for the type of player like Bendtner,” Flindt-Bjerg said.
Even with Monchengladbach not interested, Bendtner still has plenty of clubs to choose from as he tries to start a new life away from the Gunners.
Bendtner hasn’t played for Arsenal since 2009 and has spent time on loan at Sunderland and Juventus.
The Dane struggled while on loan at Juve last season, making only 9 appearances for the club, who regained their Italian league title.
Bendtner will hope to have more luck at his new club, with the player rarely featuring for Arsenal and spending most of the time on the bench.
Arsenal will looking to replace Bendtner with a quality striker and are interested in signing Manchester United striker Wayne Rooney and Real Madrid’s want-away striker Gonzalo Higuain.
The Gunners reportedly have their biggest transfer budget ever to spend on players this summer.
