The striker has been linked with a return to Manchester United this summer.
Real Madrid look set to offer Cristano Ronaldo a huge contract extension to try and keep him at the Bernabeu according to the Daily Star.
The striker has been heavily linked with a move back to Manchester United, with Paris St Germain and AS Monaco also monitoring the situation.
Ronaldo has been unsettled at Madrid for sometime and even said he was unhappy at the club in October.
He also angrily rejected rumours that he had already signed a contract extension with Madrid last week.
Real are set to offer their star a new contract and the money that they will offer Ronaldo will be huge and it is unlikely that Manchester United would be able to compete.
They look set to offer Ronaldo a £200,000 a week contract, with £75,000 a week added on for the players image rights.
Due to British tax laws, United would have to offer Ronaldo £380,000 per week just to rival the Spanish giants, an amount United are unlikely to afford.
However, French clubs AS Monaco and PSG could probably compete with Real it just depends where Ronaldo wants to play his football next season.
