Tottenham manager Andre Villas-Boas will stay at the club this summer but only if they prove their ambition by signing his three main transfer targets according to the Daily Mirror.

The former Chelsea boss is PSG’s number one target to replace Real Madrid bound Carlo Ancelotti and they are prepared to back AVB  with plenty of funds to improve the French champions squad.

However, AVB  has said that he wants to stay on at Spurs, feeling he has unfinished business after only one season in charge but the Portuguese coach will expect substantial funds to be available to him to improve Spurs this summer.

AVB  intends to re-shape his attacking options by signing Barcelona’s David Villa and Internacional’s Leo Damiao.

Current strikers Emmanuel Adebayor and Jermaine Defoe look set to leave the club, with Adebayor linked with a £10 million move to Turkish club Fenerbache.

AVB  also wants the club to sign long-term target Paulinho, who will improve Spurs midfield and help replace Luka Modric, who left last season.

Spurs narrowly missed out on a place in the Champions League and Villas-Boas wants to make sure that the club qualify for the competition next season by signing several quality players.
