Arsenal midfielder Santi Cazorla thinks that the Gunners will challenge for the Premier League title next season, especially with the help of some new additions like striker Gonzalo Higuain, the Daily Star reports.

The signing of Higuain looks like a formality now and manager Arsene Wenger looks set to spend heavily in the transfer window, with speculation linking the Gunners with Wayne Rooney, Ashley Williams and Mauroune Fellaini.

Arsenal managed an excellent run towards the end of last season, winning 8 out of their last 10 games meaning that they managed to qualify for next seasons Champions League campaign.

With some new faces, Cazorla thinks that the Gunners can carry on that momentum into the next campaign.

He said, “This season we hope we can be even better and win trophies and the supporters can enjoy it, that is what Arsenal really wants.”

The Gunners will be desperate to end their silverware drought next season, following 8 years without a trophy at the Emirates.

However, it seems like exciting times coming to the Emirates, with a record transfer budget for Wenger to spend and quality young players like Jack Wilshere getting better and better.
