Tottenham Hotspur have made Clint Dempsey available for transfer after failing to make a big impact at White Hart Lane, since his move from Fulham last summer.

Spurs boss, Andre Villas Boas, is set to have a mass exodus of fringe players, such as Emanuel Adebayor and Scott Parker, with the American international as the next victim.

The North London club are willing to listen to offers for the 30 year-old, as Belgian winger Nacer Chadli has been lined up as his replacement for a reported fee of £7.5million. The FC Twente winger is reportedly in talks with Daniel Levy over a potential move to the Premier League club, with a vision of challenging for the four Champions League spots next season.

Despite Welsh star Gareth Bale looking to stay at the club, AVB does not want a repeat of last year when his side missed out on fourth place on the last day to bitter London rivals Arsenal, hence his desire to spark a mass overhaul at the club.

The Lilywhites have already brought in Brazilian international Paulinho from Corinthians, for a fee of £17million, whilst seven players have been released from the club – including £15million flop David Bentley.

Former Spurs and Southampton boss, Harry Redknapp, also wishes to take Scott Parker over to West London this summer to his Championship side Queens Park Rangers, as he looks to rebuild his squad to fight for promotion back to the Premier League next season.

Another player poised to depart from White Hart Lane this summer is Jermain Defoe, with the 30 year-old striker being heavily linked with a move Aston Villa, as part of the deal for Christian Benteke.
