The sharpest designs created for the upcoming season.
Arsenal (away)
After signing a £30million-a-year deal with Puma from the start of next season, Arsenal’s current contract with Nike draws to an end with the Gunners keeping the same home kit for last term. Instead the American company have introduced this smart away shirt as a parting gift after 20 years of memorable kits. It’s a similar bright yellow number to that worn by the ‘Invincibles’ Arsenal team of 2003/04 and Gunners supporters will be hoping to will have a similar effect after eight trophyless years at the Emirates Stadium. Although we’re unsure if it will also have the ability to make Gervinho play more like Robert Pires.
Manchester City (home)
After switching from Umbro to Nike in a six-year deal worth £72million the Citizens have stuck to the traditional sky blue design. They may have lost their Premier League title to Manchester rivals United but at least City will be looking stylist all next season. The new white and navy trim helps to give this shirt a champion look once again proving that simplicity is best.
Chelsea (away)
Sometime simple works the best. That is clearly the case with the new Chelsea away shirt produced by Adidas. Plain white with a basic blue collar, it is effective due to the smart horizontal red and blue strips across the chest. Too many shirts these days come with too many special details and over the top designs which is why we like this simple and attractive effort. Jose Mourinho’s new side will not only play stylist football on the pitch this season but will wear this suave effort as well.
Liverpool (home)
Based on the 1984 Liverpool kit – when the Reds won their fourth European Cup- this smart shirt by Warrior feels like an updated version of a classic design. It has some subtle differences from last season, with a stylish white trim on the collar and sleeves and gold lettering. This shirt is sure to be popular addition to the Kop. Lets just not mention the other Reds kits from Warrior this season.
Manchester United (home)
Nike’s latest home kit for the Premier League champions brings backs memories of certain Frenchman at Old Trafford in the nineties. Inspired by Eric Cantona the upturned collar has made a return on this shirt featuring a button-down design. The ‘tea-towel’ style from last season has been replaced by classic plain red as United look to the past despite beginning a new era under David Moyes.
Tottenham Hotspur (home)
As with many Premier League clubs this season Spurs claim their new home strip is inspired in a bygone ages. In this instance the 1960s as Under Armour take on a classic design in a clean-cut manner. The HP logo is a bit much on a white background but this is still an elegant shirt that will take pride of place at White Hart Lane.
West Bromwich Albion (away)
The Baggies will take to the field looking more like AC Milan next season with this simply stylish number from Adidas as their away kit. A neat and simple bold black and red strip design that combines well to create a trendy shirt that wouldn’t look out of place at the San Siro.
West Ham (home)
After replacing Macron as West Ham kit manufacturer for the new season Adidas have produced a striking new kit for the Hammers as their first attempt. With a lighter blue than usual, the claret stays the same with the trademark Adidas stripes half-way down the sleeve. But it’s the white collar that really makes the kit stand out. Let’s just hope now that Sam Allardyce’s Hammers side can produce football worthy of the shirt.
Fulham (home)
A new kit manufacturer for the Craven Cottage side as they swap Adidas for Kappa. And for a first effort the Italian company haven’t done badly with this striking, but simple kit for the Cottagers. The black ‘v’ strip at the neck makes the shirt stand out with the white contrasting well with the black. An upgrade on last season pinstrip number.
Aston Villa (home)
Villa have stuck with Macron for the new campaign and the result is a basic and stylish home kit design. Based on the kit worn by the 1982 European Cup winner, this claret and blue kit retains a vintage look that is likely to make it popular with Villa supporters.
