Man United Make Improved £30m Bid for Barcelona Midfielder Cesc Fabregas

Old Trafford side make third offer for Nou Camp star.

Man United have made a third bid for Barcelona midfielder Cesc Fabregas according to Metro.

David Moyes is thought to have made offers of £26m and £29m but has now put in an improved offer of around £30m.

Though the La Liga side have thus far resisted offers for the 26 year old Spanish international this source believes sources at the Premier League club are confident such an offer may be enough to convince Barcelona to sell the former Arsenal skipper.

Man United boss David Moyes may well be keen on freshening up his midfield and is yet to make any high profile signings and chief executive Ed Woodward is now said to be heavily involved in looking to pull off a major summer signing.

There has been growing speculation that Fabregas could be ready to leave Barcelona after two fairly unspectacular seasons back at the Catalan club in his second spell at Barcelona which followed an eight year stint at Arsenal.

The lack of a central midfielder with an eye for goal and whom can ably link midfield and attack is perhaps fueling the club’s interest in Cesc Fabregas and Moyes is also thought to be keen on his former Everton charge Marouane Fellaini.
