Greens inch closer to filling second quota spot
Goa based Salgoacar have added to their midfield with the signature of of 27-year-old Seiji Saito from Polish club Korona Kielce
Saito has experience in both the Brazilian and Portuguese Leagues, having played for Club Portugais and the Sau Paolo B side, as well as in his native Japan.
He has represented the Blue Samurai at under 15 and Under 18 level, but is yet to earn his first senior cap for Japan
The club have to been holding trials in order to fill the foreign quota ( teams in the I-league are only able to sign four foreign players).
The first of those slots was awarded to Nigerian Chika Walli, who followed the Greens new coach Derrick Periera from Pune FC .
According to Goal.com Salgoacar are interested in making Saito the club’s second foreign signing.
