Tottenham target Adem Ljajic has indicated he wants to move on this summer handing the White Hart Lane club a boost in their pursuit for the Fiorentina midfielder according to the Daily Star.

The 21-year-old Fiorentina attacker is highly regarded in Italy after some impressive displays for the Serie A side last term and the Viola manager Vincenzo Montella has now revealed that the Serbian international is currently unsettled with the club:

“He’s experiencing an internal conflict,” Montella told the Gazzetta dello Sport. “He has not looked very serene in recent days. What can I say, there are economic problems which are not easy.

“I’m willing to wait, just as long as he’s serene, and today he doesn’t look all that serene. I’m still convinced that [staying with Fiorentina] would be the best solution for him.”

While the youngster is in negotiations with Fiorentina about an improved new deal, it could open up the prospect of a move away from Florence with Spurs reportedly tracking Ljajic along with several top European sides including AC Milan.

Ljajic, who was previously rejected by Manchester United after a trial period in 2008, netted 12 goals in 31 appearances for the Viola last season and the classy attacking midfielder would certainly add more creativity to Andre Villas-Boas Tottenham side

The Serie A side are keen to have a release clause in any new possible deal but should no agreement be reached before the season starts they may start to listen to offers for the player who only has year left to run on his current contract.
