Chelsea and Arsenal target admits he could leave.
Bayern Munich misfit Luis Gustavo is being coy over where his future might lie next season as he looks set for another frustrating season playing a bit part role, the Express reports.
The Brazilian midfield patroller has seen his place in the starting line up come under threat this summer thanks to the arrival of Thiago Alcantara from Barcelona, thus crowding the club’s midfield even further.
Both Chelsea and Arsenal have expressed a prior interest in taking him away from the Bavarian club and it is believed that he could be available for as little as £15 million, whilst fellow Bundesliga side Wolfsburg have also said that they are admirers of the player, sporting director Klaus Alloffs confirmed last week.
“When the speculations about Bayern having too many midfielders came up, we said that Luiz Gustavo would be a player who’d fit us very well in terms of his quality,” Alloffs told German newspaper SID.
And Gustavo, who’s future is severely in doubt, has now admitted that an exit could be on the cards as the new season approaches.
“I am very happy at Bayern. I have two years left on my contract, but you don’t know what will happen until August
31,” he said.
