However, Spurs claim that the two clubs need to decide who will be coming to White Hart Lane as part of the Bale deal.
Real Madrid have claimed that they have agreed a fee with Tottenham, enabling them to buy Gareth Bale, the Daily Mirror reports.
The fee is reported to be a staggering £105 million, which would be a world record transfer fee.
However, Tottenham insist that a deal hasn’t been completed with yet, with the two clubs failing too agree on which Real Madrid players should move in the opposite direction.
Spurs are interested in several Real Madrid players, including young striker Alvaro Morata, who won the golden boot at the recent European under Championships in Israel.
However, Real boss Carlo Ancelotti doesn’t want to sell Morata, feeling that the youngster will have a big future if he stays at the Santiago Bernabeu.
The Italian is also unwilling to let Luka Modric move back to White Hart Lane, feeling the Croatian still has a role to play at the club despite a disappointing debut season.
While Fabio Coentrao looks set to be a part of the Bale deal, Angel Di Maria is unlikely to move to Spurs as he has said to the Real hierarchy that he has no intention of moving to White Hart Lane.
