Old Trafford boss to make move for Nou Camp and Goodison Park talents.
Having thus far failed to land a big name signing David Moyes is set to make offers for a trio of talents that will set Man United back £80m according to the Daily Star.
Moyes will look to put in a significantly increased bid for Spanish international Cesc Fabregas with an offer of £40m having failed with previous efforts of £25m and £30m.
Barcelona boss Gerardo Martino has stated that Fabregas can join Man United if he wishes, a statement could well leave the former Arsenal man wondering about his importance at the Catalan club.
David Moyes will look to further strengthen his midfield with an offer for his former Toffees charge Marouane Fellaini, a £22m offer being made to trigger the Everton star’s release clause that is now increasing on a daily basis after the 1st August deadline on his contract was passed.
The powerful midfielder could work in a dual role for Man United, providing some steel as well as a very real goal threat, the Belgian netting a dozen goals in all competitions last term. Everton will be loathed to sell the 25 year old but clearly won’t have a choice if his release clause is met.
Moyes could then further anger Everton with another offer for Leighton Baines with this source claiming an £18m bid for the 28 year old left-back imminent.
The England international has been a crucial performer for the Merseyside club, providing an outlet going forward and a solid defensive presence to boot. Baines is also a set piece specialist and arguably a player Everton can not afford to lose, luckily for Roberto Martinez there is no release clause issue to contend with but if the former Wigan Athletic man puts in an official transfer request then things could get tricky.
