Stamford Bridge side could be tempted to agent’s offer.
Jose Mourinho could well feel the need to bring in some added steel to balance out his creative-heavy midfield and Luis Gustavo is an experienced performer who was something of a bit part player at Bayern Munich last term and is likely to see even less action under new boss Pep Guardiola following the signing of young pair Mario Gotze and Thiago Alcantara this summer.
The 26 year old former Hoffenheim man started less than half of Bayern Munich’s Bundesliga fixtures last term, more often than not being edged out by Spanish international Javi Martinez for the starting defensive midfield slot. Luckily Gustavo can also play in defence when called upon and this adaptability may well suit Jose Mourinho down to the ground.
Arsenal and Wolfsburg are both also keen on Gustavo but the chance to move to Stamford Bridge to team up with national team colleagues Ramires, David Luiz and Oscar could well give the West London side the edge in the chase for the Bayern Munich battler.
