50 Deals That Could Still Be Completed During the Summer Transfer Window

Here are 50 transfers that we believe could still happen during the final month of the transfer window.

Keisuke Honda: CSKA Moscow to AC Milan

The Japanese midfielder has been heavily linked with a move away from the Russian side for most of the summer, with his contract due to expire in January. He has already told CSKA that he has no plans to renew his contract, so he will certainly leave by January. However, it is believed that he is looking to move now and AC Milan are desperate to sign him, feeling that Honda is the perfect player to improve their midfield for the forthcoming season. They may face competition from Premier League side Everton, who are also known to be interested in signing Honda this summer.

Kyriakos Papadopoulos- Schalke to Liverpool

Papadopoulos is regarded as one of the best young defenders in Europe  and he has attracted the interest of Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers, who is looking for a young defender to replace the recently retired Jamie Carragher. Schalke have said that they could sell the defender if they receive a bid that meets their valuation, with the German club thought to be looking for a fee of around £10 million.

Tom Huddlestone- Tottenham Hotspur to Sunderland

Huddlestone is a battling central midfielder with a good for eye for a pass but he struggled to establish himself in the Spurs first team due to injury and competition for places. The midfielder looks set to be one of the players that Andre Villas-Boas will sell this summer, with Sunderland very interested in signing the Englishman. Reports suggest that Spurs will demand around £5 million for the midfielder and Huddlestone will hope that a move to the Stadium of Light will mean more first team opportunities for him next season.

Alexis Sanchez- Barcelona to Napoli

Sanzhez has had a frustrating couple of years at Barcelona, failing to hold down a regular spot in the La Liga champions first team. He has been heavily linked with a move back to Italy, where he had a very successful spell with Udinese before moving to Barcelona. Napoli and Juventus are thought to be interested in signing the Chilean and although Sanchez would like to fight for his place at the Nou Camp, that will prove difficult following the arrival of Neymar. Sanchez will be directly competing with the Brazilian for a first team spot next season and having paid £48 million for Neymar, Barcelona are likely to give him more of an opportunity.

Fabio Coentrao- Real Madrid to Tottenham

Coentrao has struggled to hold a regular place in the Madrid first team since he was brought in by Jose Mourinho two years ago. With Mourinho leaving Madrid and going back to Chelsea, Coentrao days at Madrid seem numbered, with the club keen to give the player to Spurs as part of the deal to sign Gareth Bale. Recent reports suggest that Coentrao is interested in a move to Tottenham and he will need to move away from Madrid in order to get some first team football or risk missing out on the World Cup in Brazil next summer.

Nani- Manchester to Monaco

Nani has been a frustrating figure at Old Trafford, showing glimpses of his best form but never being able to nail down a starting spot in the Red Devils first team. With plenty of wingers at the club, David Moyes is considering selling the Portuguese international and then using the proceeds to improve United’s central midfield area. AS Monaco are interested in signing Nani and will easily be able to pay the £8 million that United are demanding for him.

Patrice Evra- Manchester United to AS Monaco

Evra’s future at Old Trafford has been the subject of speculation for awhile now, with David Moyes keen on replacing the ageing Frenchman with a younger full back. Evra won’t want to play second fiddle to another defender and is thought to be keen on moving back to former club AS Monaco, who would welcome the defender back with open arms. Evra is getting older but still has plenty of experience and would be an excellent signing for the big spending French club who are looking to re-establish themselves as a force in Europe.

Edin Dzeko- Manchester City to Chelsea

Dzeko has scored several incredibly important goals for City throughout his career at the Etihad but has still been unable to nail down a regular spot in the Sky Blues first team. With the arrivals of Stevan Jovetic and Alvaro Negredo, Dzeko will find it even tougher to get into City’s starting line-up this season and could look to move away from the club in search of regular first team football. Chelsea are thought to be interested in the striker, with Jose Mourinho hoping to sign a tall, powerful striker that will lead the line at the Blues this season.

Michu- Swansea City to Arsenal

The Spaniard was considered the Premier League’s best buy of last summer, scoring plenty of goals for Swansea despite only costing them £2 million. Michu has now established himself as one of the top flight’s most dangerous marksman and has been linked with several clubs this summer. The most interested appear to be Arsenal, who are desperate to strengthen their attacking options this summer. Arsene Wenger is known to like a bargain and will feel that he sign Michu for a relatively small price.

Ashley Williams- Swansea City to Arsenal

Williams played a key role in helping Swansea win the League Cup last season, while also leading them to a ninth place finish in the Premier League. His excellent performances have gone unnoticed, with several clubs interested in his services. Again, its Arsenal who appear to be the closest to signing Williams, with Arsene Wenger wanting to re-enforce his defence following the injury to Thomas Vermaelen, which could keep him out of the start of the Premier League season. Swansea were thought to want £10 million for Williams but their stance has now softened, meaning they will let their captain leave for around £8.5 million.

Yohan Cabaye- Newcastle United to Manchester United

Cabaye has a reputation as one of the best passers in the Premier League and played a huge role in Newcastle’s successes during the 2011/2012 season. It now appears that he is looking to move away from the club after two years on Tyneside, with Manchester United and Paris St Germain interested in signing the Frenchman. Cabaye recently spoke about his desire to play for Manchester United and the Red Devils are known to be looking for a quality midfielder to replace the recently retired Paul Scholes.

Christen Eriksen- Ajax to Liverpool

Eriksen has been regarded as one of the best young midfielders in the world for awhile now, with Ajax manager Frank De Boer building his team around the young Dane. However, many have said that now be the right time for Eriksen to leave Holland and move to a more competitive league. A possible move to the Premier League has been suggested, with long term admires Liverpool known to be interested in signing the midfielder. Brendan Rodgers feels that Eriksen will fit in well with the Reds style of play and may only have to pay around £15 million for the player, as his contract with Ajax runs out next summer.

Demba Ba- Chelsea to West Ham

Ba has only been at Chelsea for a season and already it looks like he will be leaving Stamford Bridge, with Jose Mourinho keen on signing new strikers, meaning Ba will be surplus to requirements. West are thought to be interested in Ba, with manager Sam Allardyce keen on partnering Ba with Andy Carroll next season. A move to West Ham maybe a step down for Ba but he would at least get plenty of opportunities in the Hammers first team, something he certainly isn’t guaranteed at Chelsea.

Scott Parker- Tottenham to QPR

Parker has been one of the unsung heroes in the Tottenham team recently, doing the donkey while the likes of Gareth Bale can be at their creative best. However, Parker is 32 and isn’t getting any younger. He looks set to leave Spurs this summer, with Andre Villas-Boas already signing his replacement in the form of Brazilian international Paulinho. QPR manager Harry Redknapp remains a huge admirer of Parker and will try and persuade the midfielder to drop down a division to the Championship and lead the Hoops to promotion.

Emmanuel Adebayor- Tottenham to Besiktas

Adebayor is another frustrating figure, often showing moments of brilliance but also showing laziness and a reluctance to work hard. He didn’t score many goals for Spurs last season and looks set to leave White Hart Lane, with AVB bringing in Roberto Soldado to replace him. A move to Turkey looks to be on the cards for Adebayor, with the only thing stopping a move being the strikers wage demands. He won’t get many opportunities if he stays at Spurs next season, meaning he may need to lower his demands in order to make the move to Besiktas.

Jermain Defoe- Tottenham to Fulham

Defoe has been one of the Premier League’s most dangerous marksmen for many years now but last season, he failed to register enough goals for Spurs and could be on his way out of White Hart Lane. AVB is determined to sign at least two strikers this summer, meaning there won’t be any space for Defoe in the clubs first team. A move to Fulham looks like a real possibility, with Martin Jol hoping to partner the England international with Dimitar Berbatov next season. Despite his age, Spurs will still demand a fee of around £6 million for the striker.

Tom Ince- Blackpool to Newcastle United

Ince is one of the most promising young players English players in the country at the moment and has been repeatedly linked with a move to the Premier League. So far he has resisted, preferring to stay with his father, Paul Ince at Blackpool. However, he can’t ignore the lure of the Premier League forever and Newcastle are the latest club who will try and sign the winger. Alan Pardew hopes to sign Ince for around £8 million and will entice the winger to St James’s Park with the promise of plenty of first team football next season.

Luka Modric- Real Madrid to Manchester United

Modric was one of the Premier League’s most dangerous midfielders during his time at Tottenham but his first season for Real Madrid hasn’t gone to plan, with the Croatian struggling to get into Los Blancos first team. A move back to the Premer League looks likely, with Manchester United thought to be interested in bringing the play-maker to Old Trafford to replace Paul Scholes. The Red Devils will hope to sign Modric for around £25 million, a fee Madrid might accept as they need to raise money to fund their move for Gareth Bale.

Fabio Quagliarella- Juventus to Norwich City

Quagliarella played a key role in helping Juventus reclaim the Serie A title but could be on the move this summer. The Italian giants are looking to sell at least two strikers this summer following the arrivals of Carlos Tevez and Fernando Llorente. Quagliarella looks set to be one of those players who will depart and Norwich City are reportedly very interested in signing the talented Italian. With his experience, Quagliarella could become a real hit in the Premier League and huge boast for Norwich as they bid to climb the table.

Toby Alderweireld- Ajax to Everton

Alderweireld is another young player that Ajax could be losing this summer. The defender only has one year remaining on his current contract with the Dutch giants and won’t be signing a new deal, meaning Ajax will need to sell him or risk letting him leave for free next summer. Everton are looking to sign the young defender and feel that they can get him at a relatively cheap price as he is in the last year of his contract. Everton’s fierce rivals, Liverpool are also thought to be interested in the young defender.

Cristano Ronaldo- Real Madrid to Manchester United

Ronaldo could be set for a sensational move back to Manchester United this summer amid reports that he is unsettled at Real Madrid. He is currently refusing to sign a contract extension with the Spanish giants and has already said that he misses playing for Manchester United. Should Madrid sign Gareth Bale, they maybe tempted to cash in on Ronaldo and let him go back to Manchester United, where he welcomed by new manager David Moyes, who is looking for a marquee signing during his first summer in charge.

Hulk- Zenit St Petersburg to Chelsea

Hulk only signed for Zenit St Petersburg last summer but already he is looking to move away from the Russian club. Reports suggest that the Brazilian has struggled to settle in Russia and is now looking to move to big club. Chelsea are reportedly interested in signing Hulk, with the striker confirming that talks have taken place between himself and the club about a move to Stamford Bridge. One possible stumbling block could be that Zenit are demanding £50 million for the striker, an amount Chelsea will be unwilling to pay.

Maroune Chamakh- Arsenal to Crystal Palace

Chamakh signed for Arsenal on a free transfer from Bordeaux in 2010, with many expecting great things from the striker. However, Chamakh’s time at the Emirates hasn’t been a happy one, with the player struggling to get into the Gunners first team. The striker now looks set to leave the Emirates, with newly promoted Crystal Palace his most likely destination. A move to Selhurst Park is reportedly close for Chamakh, with the only detail left to be decided is whether the striker makes the move permanently or on loan.

Gervinho- Arsenal to Roma

Gervinho is another player that has struggled to make the grade at the Emirates and looks certain to be on his way out of Arsenal very soon. The winger has struggled to get into the Gunners first team and when he has played, he has looked out of his depth. Roma are hoping to sign the winger, with new manager Rudi Garcia confident that he can get the best out of Gervinho, having worked with him while he was manager of Lille. Arsene Wenger feels that Gervinho is a good player but thinks that the winger needs a fresh start in order to fully realise his potential.

Matthias Ginter- Freiburg to Arsenal

Ginter is another excellent prospect for the German national team and has been impressing many people with his performances at Freiburg. Arsene Wenger is reportedly one of the people that he has impressed and the Arsenal boss is now looking to sign Ginter and bed him into the Arsenal team. Wenger is one of the best managers in the world for working with young players so Ginter will be in good hands if he makes a move to Emirates. Reports suggest that Arsenal have agreed a £6 million fee with Freiburg for Ginter.

Gaston Ramirez- Southampton to Inter Milan

Ramierz was one of many Southampton players that succeeded last season, making several excellent performances that helped the Saints stay in the Premier League. However, his strong performances haven’t gone unnoticed, with Inter Milan thought to be interested in bringing the winger to the San Siro. Ramierz agent has said that his client would be interested in a move to Inter if speculation turns into an offer. While the Saints will want to keep Ramierz at St Mary’s, it will be hard with the likes of Inter Milan chasing him.

Xabi Alonso- Real Madrid to Chelsea

Alonso has long been regarded as one of the best midfielders in the world, able to play accurate passes that set up goals for his team. However, at 31, he is getting older and Real Madrid are reportedly looking to replace him with a younger man. The club have already signed Asmir Illarramendi, a ready made replacement in many peoples eyes. A move back to England could be on the cards for Alonso, with Jose Mourinho keen on being re-united with the Spaniard at Stamford Bridge. The pair enjoyed a good relationship during their time together at Real Madrid and Alonso could be exactly the type of midfielder that Mourinho is looking for.

Mattieu Valbuena- Marseille to Barcelona

Valbuena is one of the best strikers currently available to the French national team and played a huge role in Marseille finishing in second place in Ligue 1 last season. However, his excellent performances have led to speculation that Barcelona may make a move for him. The Catalan club are looking to bolster their strike force this summer despite signing Neymar and Valbuena could be just what they are looking for.

Bafetimbi Gomis- Lyon to Newcastle

Gomis is reportedly closing in on a move to Premier League side Newcastle United, with manager Alan Pardew desperate to sign a striker that will replace Demba Ba, who left in January to join Chelsea. Gomis is being persuaded to join Newcastle by several of the clubs French players and the Magpies have reportedly already agreed a fee with Lyon, who have to sell Gomis this summer or risk losing him for free next year, with his contract expiring. Newcastle just need to agree personal terms with the striker and then the deal can be concluded and Pardew will finally get a quality striker.

Mangala- FC Porto to Chelsea

Mangala is one of the most highly rated young centre backs in the world at the moment, with many pundits tipping him for greatness. He had an excellent season for Porto, being a powerful presence in defence for the Portuguese side. However, a move to Chelsea looks likely, with Jose Mourinho looking to sign a defender who will be at the heart of the Blues defence for the next few years. Mangala could certainly grow into a great centre back and could learn a lot by playing alongside John Terry, who is approaching the end of his career.

Joey Barton- QPR to Marseille

Barton was sent on loan to Marseille in disgrace last summer, following his red card in QPR’s final game of the season against Manchester City. The midfielder enjoyed his time in France, becoming a favourite with many fans due to his committed displays. It appears that Barton could move to Marseille on a permanent basis, with QPR eager to sell the player so that they can trim their wage budget for life in the Championship. Barton enjoyed his time in France and would also look forward to playing in the Champions League with them.

Peter Odemwingie- West Bromwich Albion to Cardiff City

Odemwingie will almost certainly leave the Hawthorns this summer following his actions in January. The player tried to force through a move to QPR by turning up at the clubs ground without permission from West Brom. The move couldn’t be completed before the end of the transfer window, meaning Odemwingie had to stay at West Brom. However, it is unlikely that he will stay at West Brom much longer, with Cardiff City looking to sign the striker as he has a good goal scoring record in the Premier League, something that is important to a newly promoted side.

Bernard- Atletico Mineiro to FC Porto

Bernard is one of the best young midfielders in Brazilian football and played a part in his countries victory at the Confederations Cup earlier in the summer. With many Brazilians now playing their football in Europe, it looks like Bernard will do the same. He was linked with a move to Arsenal but his agent would rather he moved to Porto, as he will get more first team opportunities their than at a big club like Arsenal, who have several quality midfielders that Bernard would have to compete with.

Leandro Damiao- Internacional to Tottenham or Napoli

Damiao has long been linked with a move to Tottenham. The North London club tried to sign the striker last summer but the move fell through. This summer, it appears that Damiao would like to move to Europe and he has suggested that he would be interested in a move to White Hart Lane. However, he has also suggested that he wants to play in Champions League, meaning Napoli could be a more likely destination for the striker, who looks set to be a part of Brazil’s squad for next summers World Cup.

Fernando Torres- Chelsea to Barcelona

Torres has been a disappointment during his time at Stamford Bridge, never being able to recapture the form he showed while he was at Liverpool. The Blues look set to sign a quality striker this summer, meaning first team opportunities for Torres could be hard to come by. Barcelona are reportedly tracking Torres as they are eager to sign a quality number 9. Torres certainly wouldn’t say no to Barcelona and a move to the Nou Camp maybe an opportunity for the striker to start again and try and recapture his best form.

Victor Moses- Chelsea to Everton

Moses struggled to get into Chelsea’s first team during his first season at Stamford Bridge and that could prove to be even more difficult this season following the arrival of Andre Schurrle. Moses may have to move away from Chelsea in order to get some first team football and a move to Everton could be on the cards, with the Toffees new manager Roberto Martinez keen to be re-united with Moses, who played a key role in Martinez side at Wigan.

Daniel Agger- Liverpool to Barcelona

Agger has struggled with injury recently, meaning he has never been able to show his best form for Liverpool. That hasn’t stopped Barcelona becoming interested in the defender, with Gerardo Martino keen on signing the Dane to strengthen the La Liga giants backline. Agger could form a strong central defensive partnership with Gerard Pique and would solve Barcelona’s problems from set pieces. The Spanish Champions conceded many goals from corners and free kicks last season and the club are keen to sort out that problem by signing Agger, who is strong and powerful in the box.

Luiz Gustavo- Bayern Munich to Chelsea or Arsenal

The Brazilian has struggled to hold down a regular place in the Bayern Munich first team, with the likes of Javi Martinez keeping Gustavo on the bench. The midfielder is desperate to be a part of Brazil’s squad for next summers World Cup and will only do that if he playing first team football, meaning he may have to leave the Allianz Arena. A move to the Premier League has been mooted, with Chelsea and Arsenal both interested in signing the midfielder. Both Arsene Wenger and Jose Mourinho are looking for battling central midfielders this summer and Gustavo is believed to be one of the best despite his lack of opportunities at Bayern.

Julio Cesar- QPR to Arsenal

Cesar was one of the only good things to come out of QPR’s season, with the Brazilian putting in several solid performances for the Hoops. Cesar is unlikely to want to play in the Championship and QPR are looking to sell him so that they can trim their wage budget. Arsenal have been linked with the Brazilian for many months now, with Arsene Wenger looking to sign an experienced goalkeeper. The only thing that seems to be standing in the way of a deal is Cesar’s wage demands, with Arsenal wanting him to lower them before a deal can be completed.

Darren Bent- Aston Villa to Fulham

Bent was regarded as one of the Premier League’s most deadly strikers a few seasons ago. However, his time at Villa hasn’t been a happy one and he looks set to leave Villa Park this summer. Fulham are thought to be the most interested in signing Bent, with Martin Jol hoping to take some of the pressure off of Dimitar Berbatov by signing Bent. The only problem at the moment appears to be Villa’s valuation. The Villains are demanding £6 million for Bent, an amount that Fulham are unwilling to pay at this stage.

Etienne Capoue- Toulouse to Cardiff City

Capoue has been linked with a move to the Premier League for several months now, with Arsenal, Tottenham and Everton all monitoring the midfielders progress at Toulouse. However, it appears that newly promoted Cardiff City may win the race to sign the talented Frenchman, with Malky Mackay eager to sign Capoue after missing out on Blackpool’s Tom Ince. Reports suggest that the Welsh club have agreed a fee with the French club, meaning they now need to agree personal terms with Capoue.

David Luiz- Chelsea to Barcelona or Bayern Munich

Luiz has been a frustrating figure during his time at Stamford Bridge, showing promise but also making plenty of mistakes. Some reports have suggested that Jose Mourinho is looking to sell the defender as he doesn’t fit into the Portuguese coaches style of play. Barcelona are on the look out for a central defender and it is thought Luiz would fit into their style of play while new Bayern Munich boss Pepe Guardiola is known to be an admirer of the Brazilian’s and is interested in bringing him to the Allianz Arena.

Luis Suarez- Liverpool to Arsenal

Suarez career at Liverpool appears to be over, with the striker doing everything to try and force his way out of Anfield. The striker wants a move away from the Reds because he wants to be playing at a club that is in the Champions League and while his preferred destination is thought to be Real Madrid, Arsenal are the only club who have made a move for him. Suarez is reportedly interested in a move to the Emirates and was angry when Liverpool turned down a £40 million offer from the Gunners, which he thought should have activated a release clause in his contract.

Daniele De Rossi- Roma to Chelsea

De Rossi had a poor season for Roma last term, falling out with the clubs manager and finding himself on the bench more often than he would like. This has lead to speculation that De Rossi may finally leave Roma, having played for the Italian club all his career. Chelsea are interested in signing the midfielder, with Jose Mourinho being a huge fan of De Rossi. Mourinho hopes to make the Italian the centre of his new look midfield at the Blues and could tempt Roma with a £15 million offer for De Rossi.

Ezequiel Garay- Benfica to Manchester United

Garay has been on Manchester United’s radar for sometime now, with reports suggesting that the Red Devils had agreed a fee with Benfica earlier in the year. Many believe that Garay will become David Moyes first major signing as Manchester United manager and the Argentine will be tasked with replacing the likes of Rio Ferdinard, who is approaching the end of his career. Garay could end up forming a central defensive partnership with Phil Jones, a player who has showed immense promise during his career at Old Trafford.

Leighton Baines- Everton to Manchester United

David Moyes is desperate to sign Baines this summer following the pairs time together at Everton. Baines was one of Moyes most trusted lieutenants at Everton and became one of the most reliable full backs in the Premier League under the Scot. Baines could be the man who replaces Patrice Evra at Old Trafford and the Red Devils have already submitted a bid for the left back. That bid was rejected but reports suggest that the Red Devils will be back with an improved bid for Baines before the end of the transfer window.

Marouane Fellaini- Everton to Arsenal or Manchester United

Fellaini has become one of the best midfielders in the Premier League during his time at Everton. The Belgian is excellent defensively and can also be a threat in attack due to his height and power. Several clubs are interested in the midfielders this summer, with Arsenal and Manchester United considering a move for the Belgian. Fellaini currently has a buy out clause in his contract, believed to be around £22 million and both Premier League clubs will look to move for the midfielder before that clause expires.

Cesc Fabregas- Barcelona to Manchester United

Fabregas has endured two frustrating seasons at Barcelona. The midfielder has struggled to play in his favoured position due to the competition for places at the Nou Camp and reports suggest that he is considering making a move back to the Premier League. David Moyes has made Fabregas his main target this summer, with the Scot desperate to improve United’s central midfield. Barcelona appear reluctant to sell Fabregas but can’t give him the guarantees that he is asking for, meaning the Spaniard may well consider leaving his boy hood club and move to Old Trafford.

Wayne Rooney- Manchester United to Chelsea

Rooney successful spell at Manchester United looks like it will end this summer, with the striker thought to be desperate to leave Old Trafford in search of a new challenge. Rooney struggled last season and often found himself behind Robin Van Persie in the pecking order. This is one of the main reasons why Rooney wants to leave and a move to Chelsea is thought to be his preferred destination. The Blues have already had two bids turned by United but it is thought that they are willing to make another bid in order to try and get their man.

Gareth Bale- Tottenham Hotspur to Real Madrid

Bale looks set to leave White Hart Lane this summer, with Real Madrid prepared to break the bank in order to land the winger. Reports have suggested that the La Liga giants will offer Spurs a huge £100 million for Bale, a bid the North London club would certainly consider. Spurs don’t want to lose Bale but the Welshman has made it clear that he sees his future at the Santiago Bernabeu and not at White Hart Lane, meaning Spurs may have to sell their one world class player.
