Man United Opt for Youth as David Moyes Targets Trio Of Europe’s Most Promising Talents

David Moyes will look to lure Schalke’s highly rated teenage midfielder Julian Draxler to further strengthen a very brittle Man United central midfield complement and the Premier League title holders are willing to offer as much as £22m for the German international.

The 19 year old has already amassed over 100 appearances for Schalke and has half a dozen national team caps to his name and is very much considered one of the hottest prospects in European football.

Man United will look to Draxler to act as a long term replacement for retired legend Paul Scholes, the Schalke midfielder seemingly has the potential to make an instant impact in the Old Trafford first team and has the adaptability to provide strength as well as the forward momentum to make an impact going forward.

The rangy midfielder netted 13 goals in all competitions last term and is seen by Moyes as perhaps a better option than his former Everton charge Marouane Fellaini, who has been consistently linked with a move to join his former boss as Man United.
