Swansea will have to make do without retuning loanee Jonathan De Guzman for the visit of United after the Dutchman had to be stretchered out of a training camp whilst on international duty after a nasty clash of heads with Dirk Kuyt left him with a concussion.
However, Pablo Hernandez (groin) and Jonjo Shelvey (illness) are available again, while Wilfried Bony should play despite a hefty travel schedule this week.
All eyes will be on David Moyes for this one, though, as the new boss has endured a difficult pre season campaign so far, thanks largely to the speculation surrounding Wayne Rooney.
It is not yet known whether the striker will feature having starred for the England national team during the week despite reports of a shoulder injury keeping him out of last weekend’s Community Shield final.
Ashley Young will still be missing, having being made to pull out of the clash with Scotland, but other than that it will be business as usual for United who have yet to add any new faces to the squad.
