The Premier League returns to your screens this weekend and on Saturday, there are seven games taking place throughout the day.

For many, this campaign is going to be the closest yet and a good start is key for a team achieving their respective ambitions for the season.

As you would expect, there is a lunch-time kick-off to get the action underway as Stoke City make the journey to Anfield to take on Brendan Rodgers’ Liverpool.

These two teams have very different ambitions for the campaign as the Reds are looking to challenge for the top four, whereas Stoke know that survival is key under new manager Mark Hughes.

We then have five matches getting underway at 3pm and Aston Villa making the trip to Arsenal might be the pick of these fixtures.

With the way both teams play their football, this could be a frantic 90 minutes of action, but as you would expect, the Gunners are the favourites for this one at 4/9.

Arsenal have once again failed to do the business they would have wanted in the transfer market at the moment, but they still have the quality in their squad to take this encounter.

As for Aston Villa, they are a 15/2 shot to win this one and Paul Lambert will send his side out to take the spoils as it is the way he always plays and if at their best, there could be some value in the away team.

Elsewhere, newly-promoted Cardiff City travel to West Ham United and Malkay Mackay’s men will be looking for their first win in the top flight here.

Cardiff have added plenty of quality during the transfer window, but the Hammers are very strong on home soil and might be the best bet for this one at evens.

West Bromwich Albion and Southampton lock horns as well and both of these teams are sure to be looking at the top ten this term.

However, reaching 40 points as quickly as possible is the aim and with the way they both play football, this is going to be an interesting encounter. A draw could be the best bet for this one at 12/5.

Norwich City have been one of the busiest clubs in the transfer window and they kick-start their season at home to Roberto Martinez’s Everton.

It is tough to know just what to expect from these two teams this campaign as the Canaries have added so many new players and the Toffees have a new manager in charge.

The other 3pm kick-off is Sunderland v Fulham and the draw appeals here at 12/5.

Then, at 5.30pm, we see David Moyes’ first Premier League game in charge of Manchester United as his team head to the Liberty Stadium to take on Swansea City.

There is plenty of pressure on the Red Devils to win this one and it could come down to one man – Robin van Persie. If the Dutchman continues his fine run of form, he is sure to find the back of the net.

The Swans are always strong on home soil though and sure to put a decent fight in this game.

Bring on the action.
