Juventus have ruled out signing Manchester United winger Nani this summer, claiming the 26-year-old has signed a new contract with the club, according to the Daily Express.

The Portuguese international has been the subject of much speculation this summer, after a drastic dip in form last season, leading many to speculate that his time at United may be up.

However, with the transfer window deadline drawing ever closer, it seems increasingly likely that Nani will remain at Old Trafford, with Juve sporting director Giuseppe Marotta claiming he has committed his future to the Red Devils.

“He’s renewed his contract with Manchester United and we never negotiated for him,” he said.

Nani had also been linked with the likes of Galatasaray, PSG and Monaco at points this summer, and more recently with another Serie A side, Roma.

However, in a quiet transfer window at Old Trafford, other players linked with moves away have ended up staying at the club, while only youngster Guillermo Varela has been brought in, despite several big-name players being linked as targets for new manager David Moyes.

Juventus were also said to be eyeing up United striker Javier Hernandez earlier this summer, though they opted instead to sign Carlos Tevez from their neighbours Manchester City.
