All eyes will be on Gareth Bale as he continues to struggle toward match fitness having missed all of Tottenham’s pre season campaign as he wrapped up his move to Real Madrid.

The new Galactico is thought to be over the foot injury that kept him sidelined for much of the summer, though he is still not expected to feature in Chris Coleman’s side for the encounter.

Liverpool midfielder Joe Allen has also pulled out, but Arsenal’s Aaron Ramsay and Cardiff talisman Craig Bellamy have both been included and should be expected to start.

Macedonia will likely have Goran Pandev leading the line and they will look to the all time leading goalscorer to put the ball in the net as they look to climb off the bottom of the group and salvage something from the campaign.

Wales could mathematically still qualify from the group, but with a 10 point gap between them and second placed Croatia that now seems unrealistic, but a respectable third place is not out of the question by a long stretch.
