West Brom loan star Morgan Amalfitano says he is open to the idea of joining the club on a permanent transfer, according to Sports Direct News.

The French midfielder is currently set for a season-long stay at the Hawthorns from Marseille, but has impressed greatly in his short time with the club.

Amalfitano endeared himself to the Baggies supporters with a well-taken solo goal against Manchester United at the weekend and the man himself admits he is enjoying life in England.

“It’s a loan with an option for a permanent transfer. We will see what happens,” he said.

“Right now I’m very happy and I’m enjoying playing – which is the most important thing in football.”

The 28-year-old is one of three players brought in on loan by Steve Clarke this season, along with Scott Sinclair and Matej Vydra.
