Premier League pair keen on Spartak Moscow wide-man.
Everton & Fulham are both looking to lure Spartak Moscow winger Aiden McGeady into a Premier League switch according to Sports Direct News.
The 27 year old Republic of Ireland international is into the final year of his contract at Spartak and as such should be available for a relatively cheap fee, certainly some way less than the £9.5m the Russian Premier League side paid Celtic for the wide-man.
Toffees boss Roberto Martinez had been tracking McGeady during the summer transfer window but no bid was raised at that time and Spartak Moscow will not want to lose the player on a free transfer next summer so are likely to consider decent offers when the transfer window re-opens.
Under fire Fulham boss Martin Jol is also keen on the experienced attacker, who made 252 appearances for Celtic before leaving Parkhead, having four SPL title during his time at the Glasgow club.
The uncertainty over Jol’s future at Craven Cottage may affect the chances of McGeady considering a move to the West London club and Everton’s form under Martinez, the only unbeaten team in the Premier League, must mean that the Merseyside club are leading the chase for the Spartak Moscow man.
