A match preview for the Premier League encounter between Cardiff City and Newcastle United.
Cardiff City HOME WIN @ 2.50
Cardiff have a good record at home against Newcastle with just one defeat in sixteen meetings but in all fairness there has only been two this millennium and one of those was the Newcastle win.
Even so Cardiff are hard to beat at home as they have shown by beating Man City, gaining a draw against Everton before suffering a narrow 1-0 defeat to a 93rd minute goal against Spurs.
Newcastle have conceded nine goals in their three away matches so the chances are Cardiff are going to score and i do not think Newcastle will have enough to win this unless they can manage to keep Cabaye and Ben Arfa on the pitch for the full ninety minutes – Tipster Bobsselections on www.OLBG.com

Cardiff manager Malky Mackay has an almost fully-fit squad at his disposal for the visit of Newcastle, with striker Andreas Cornelius the only absentee, having not yet recovered from a troublesome ankle injury.
Newcastle boss Alan Pardew may recall midfielder Yohan Cabaye, who was dropped to the substitutes’ bench against Everton on Monday as he struggles to catch up with the rest of the squad following his limited pre season.
Striker Shola Ameobi is fit again after overcoming an illness, and he could be joined in the squad by Steven Taylor and Jonas Gutierrez, who have overcome hamstring problems, respectively.
These two sides last met in the top flight in the 1960-61 season. Cardiff won 3-2 at home but were thrashed 5-0 at St James’ Park, and Newcastle have won their last six meetings with Cardiff in all competitions, most recently a 5-1 home victory in the Championship in February 2010.
