The playoff fixtures for next summer’s World Cup have been revealed.
Portugal will meet Sweden in the pick of the games in the playoffs for next summer’s World Cup finals in Brazil, BBC Sport reports.
The two-legged clash, to be played on the 15th and 19th of November, will see two of the game’s biggest names in Cristiano Ronaldo and Zlatan Ibrahimovic vying for a place in one of the biggest sporting events in the world next year.
13 teams are set to represent Europe, and there are four more places up for grabs for teams that finished as runners-up in their qualifying groups.
Former world champions France face another potentially tricky tie with Ukraine, while Greece will play Romania and Iceland will be looking to reach the World Cup for the first time as they come up against Croatia.
Ukraine finished second in England’s group, with Roy Hodgson’s side able to celebrate automatic qualification with a 2-0 win over Poland at Wembley last week courtesy of goals from Wayne Rooney and Steven Gerrard.
France were unfortunate to be in a tough group behind current holders Spain, and will hope to overcome Ukraine and ensure they reach the tournament, where they would be among the contenders for the trophy.

Portugal v Sweden
France v Ukraine
Greece v Romania
