Man United Ready to Launch £12m January Bid for Dutch Master Wesley Sneijder

Old Trafford side to make offer for Galatasaray star.

Man United are ready to launch an audacious bid for Galatasaray midfielder Wesley Sneijder as Old Trafford boss David Moyes looks to add more creativity to his squad according to the Daily Star.

Moyes is ready to stump up £12m in the January transfer window, which comes in at just below the playmaker’s £13m release clause and could perhaps be an offer the Turkish giants consider for the 29 year old, a fee that is twice what Galatasaray paid Inter Milan for Sneijder back in January.

Sneijder is currently on a three year deal worth £50k a week but Man United are likely to be able to offer the Dutch international a substantial pay-rise and a move to the Premier League could tempt the former Ajax and Real Madrid man.

David Moyes has seen his Man United side struggle for form thus far this season and the injection of any top talents when the transfer window re-opens may well be a necessity if Man United want to challenge for major honours.

The lack of impact made by the likes of Ashley Young, Shinji Kagawa and a number of other attacking members of Moyes’s squad may well push the Scot into making a bold move to sign Sneijder.
