Stamford Bridge side once again linked with interest in Zenit forward.
Chelsea are once again finding themselves strongly linked with a move to sign Zenit striker Hulk with the player’s agent claiming that two Premier League sides are keen on signing the Brazilian according to Sports Direct News.
The two clubs in question are apparently Chelsea and Tottenham according to this source and 27 year old ace Hulk could well be very keen on a move to the Premier League after a stuttering period in Russia.
The powerful forward has regained his form of late, scoring seven goals in his past nine appearances, to help his side to the top of the Russian Premier League though this hasn’t stopped the former FC Porto man being the subject of growing speculation in relation to a possible January transfer.
Hulk’s agent Teodoro Fonseca has refused to rule out a transfer to England, stating;
“I have already said before that Hulk is very happy at Zenit. He has an excellent relationship with [Zenit boss] Luciano Spalletti and with his team-mates.
“As regards offers from the Premier League, I cannot comment. Hulk is still very young and has it all ahead of him.”
Fonseca has previously claimed that “two great teams of the Premier League”, thought to be Chelsea and Spurs, had made an approach for the marksman at the end of last season.
Zenit paid £32m to land Hulk and one would imagine it would take a bid in the same region as this to tempt the club into selling.
Jose Mourinho could well be looking to strengthen his attack and the chance to team up alongside compatriots Oscar, Ramires and David Luiz could be an opportunity Hulk would be very interested in pursuing.
