Hull City Confident Key Striker Will Agree To Stay

Tigers have prepared a “faulous” offer for Nigerian to remain in the north east.

Premier League new boys Hull City are waiting anxiously to see if front man Sone Aluko accepts the club’s offer of a new contract to replace the Nigerian’s current deal which runs out at the end of this season, according to reports in the Daily Mail.

The giant Nigeria international only joined the Tigers from Scottish giants Glasgow Rangers in July 2012 on a two-year deal, and so Aluko will be available to leave the KC stadium on a free transfer next summer.

However, Hull head coach Steve Bruce says that he and the club are hopeful the 24-year-old will agree to put pen to paper on the contract extension that is currently on the table.

“With the contract the ball is in his court. We’ve made him in a good offer, a fabulous offer, and he’s entitled to weigh it up,” said Bruce.

“With the Bosman situation, I’ve seen this before. The ball is still in his court.”.
