Stamford Bridge on high alert as Uruguayan plans shock Parc des Princes exit.
Chelsea are reportedly on high alert after it emerged that PSG striker Edinson Cavani was preparing to quit the Ligue 1 side he only joined in the summer according to Sports Direct News.
The 26 year old Uruguayan moved to the Parc des Princes in August in a £53m switch and has proven very successful since moving to France, scoring 11 goals in 15 matches thus far this season and forming a solid pairing with Swede Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho could well do with strengthening his attack as his current quartet, Samuel Eto’o, Fernando Torres, Demba Ba and Andre Schurrle, whilst relatively successful in cup competitions have managed just three goals between them in Premier League action.
Cavani has apparently told his representatives that he is ready to make another move though one would imagine PSG would demand a fee similar, if not higher, than the one they paid Napoli for his services just a few short months ago.
Arsenal are also said to be keen whilst Man City failed with a bid for the forward over the summer.
