White Hart Lane side chase Goodison Park youngster.
Tottenham are reportedly the latest side to take an interest in Everton midfielder Ross Barkley with Andre Villas-Boas said to be looking to snap up the England man in January according to Sports Direct News.
The 19 year old Toffees man has been in excellent form this season, form that has led to a call-up to Roy Hodgson’s national team set-up, and this has led to ever growing interest in the Goodison Park starlet.
As well as interest from White Hart Lane both Man United and Chelsea are said to be keen on the box to box performer who could cost as much as £20m, a fee that Tottenham are apparently ready to fork out.
Though Tottenham appear to have a number of central midfield options this source believes that both Sandro and Lewis Holtby could be set for exits from the North London club and therefore a move for Barkley could be with a view to replacing one of the pair.
Barkley has started nine of Everton’s 11 Premier League fixtures thus far this season and is now a pivotal member of Roberto Martinez’s first team set-up.
