Courtois Save

GK) Thibaut Courtois: Chelsea (on loan at Atletico Madrid)

Easily the world’s best young keeper. It remains to be seen whether Courtois will be sold at the end of the season, or whether he’ll be allowed to replace Petr Cech at Stamford Bridge.

The wonderkid starts in goal for Belgium, and they are strong favourites in the football betting to win their upcoming international matches against Colombia and Japan.

Belgium qualified with consummate ease for the World Cup in Brazil next summer, easily batting off competition from the likes of Wales, Scotland and Croatia to win their qualifying group at a canter.

Courtois starts alongside a host of world superstars, including Premier League aces like Manchester City’s Vincent Kompany, Chelsea’s Eden Hazard, Manchester United’s Marouane Fellaini and Aston Villa’s Christian Benteke.

He also keeps in form Liverpool stopper Simon Mignolet out of the starting lineup, although if the Reds keeper continues to play so well for his new club, he may well wrestle the no.1 jersey off Chelsea’s young Belgian in time for Brazil 2014.

Despite this, at just 21-years-old, Courtois is destined to become one of the world’s greatest keepers, and his outstanding form for club and country has not gone unnoticed.
