St James’ Park side track Juventus striker.
Newcastle United are reportedly tracking Juventus forward Mirko Vucinic as Alan Pardew looks at option to strengthen his St James’ Park attack according to Sports Direct News.
The 30 year old Montenegrin international has seen his first team opportunities limited by the arrival of Carlos Tevez and Fernando Llorente from Man City and Athletic Bilbao respectively and has thus far managed just three Serie A starts this season.
Vucinic has netted 25 goals in 81 appearances for Juventus and was a success at Roma prior to his move to Turin and a fresh challenge in the Premier League may well tempt the powerful forward.
With Papiss Cisse failing to make an impact Pardew opted to bring in Loic Remy on a temporary basis and the French forward has been a huge success but the Magpies may struggle to keep hold of the QPR man on a permanent basis, hence the club’s apparent interest in bringing in alternative options.
