The 33 year old will be out of contract in the summer and may well not be handed a new deal in view of persistent injury concerns which could lead the Czech Republic international to being open to a fresh challenge and a move to Upton Park may interest in the former Borussia Dortmund man.
Rosicky moved to Arsenal in 2006 and has made a total of 193 appearances for the North London club but has started just four of the club’s 11 Premier League fixtures thus far this term, this being down primarily to the fact Rosicky has to battle the likes of Aaron Ramsey, Mikel Arteta, Jack Wilshere and Mathieu Flamini for a spot in the Gunners midfield.
West Ham are also leading the chase to sign Seattle Sounders forward Clint Dempsey on loan in the new year.
West Ham currently sit in 16th position after a poor start to the campaign.
