Chelsea are reportedly tracking Wolfsburg left-back Ricardo Rodriguez as the Blues look to bring in a long term replacement for veteran defender Ashley Cole according to talkSPORT.

Rodriguez has started all 12 Bundesliga fixtures thus far this season and already has 17 national team caps to his name and is a player with a great deal of potential and more than able to make an immediate impact.
32 year old England man Cole will be out of contract in the summer and as yet has not entered negotiations over a new deal. Any new deal will only be a rolling one year extension, as is club policy at Stamford Bridge and as such there is a chance that the Blues star could well look at other alternative options that may be forthcoming.
