Youngster has been given the nickname of “Snow Messi” because of his likeness to the brilliant Argentina international.
Premier League giants Chelsea and Manchester United are both understood to be closely monitoring an Argentinian prodigy with an uncanny similarity to FC Barcelona superstar Lionel Messi, although they are not the only European heavyweights thought to be interested in the youngster, according to reports in the Daily Mirror.
The starlet in question is a left-footed eight-year-old named Claudio Gabriel Nancufil who currently turns out for a junior club in Bariloche, Argentina, which is on the foothills of the Andes mountain range.
And the youngster has made such an impression of late that as well as both the Premier League champions and the Uefa Europa League holders, the likes of La Liga champions Barcelona, Real Madrid and Atletico de Madrid are all said to be keeping close tabs on Nancufil.
In fact, the player’s parents have already hired an agency by the name of Sueno Comunicaciones that they hope will be able to broker a possible lucrative deal for their son to eventually move to Europe and sign for one of the big-name clubs on the Continent.
And now the attention on the Argentinian has reached such levels that the BBC are even planning on featuring Nancufil in a soon-to-be aired documentary that the corporation are showing on Messi and Diego Maradona.
