The 25-year-old Argentine has enjoyed a fine start to the season, notching up seven goals and seven assists in only 13 games and looks to have finally put his long term injury worries behind him. And in doing so he has found himself back on the wish lists of a number of top European clubs.
He had attracted interest from Arsenal in the past, but it is now believed that Everton are heading the charge to take him away from the Jupiler League and they have been tipped to make a bid in the new year.
Everton have been enjoying their own strong start to the campaign and Roberto Martinez is eager to add some more options to his attacking line in anticipation of the second half of the season.
Though the Toffees have Romelu Lukaku, he is only on loan and may not be at the club come May, and with Nikica Jelavic and Arouna Kone under performing and at least one of the two is expected to move on, which would leave Martinez short up front.
Suarez is a player of terrific quality, but Everton will have to act fast to land him as they surely won’t be the only club interested.
