Gunners warned that they won’t be getting their hands on striker just yet.
Arsenal’s move for Real Madrid striker Karim Benzema has been put on hold after they were warned that the Spanish giants are no longer willing to let him go during the January transfer window and will reject all offers until the summer, according to reports in Sports Direct News.

Gunners boss Arsene Wenger has been keen on landing the France international during the winter window, but will now have to reassess his options and look for targets elsewhere after being warned off by Real Madrid.
It is believed that Carlo Ancelotti’s men are still looking for a suitable replacement for Gonzalo Higuain, who left to join Serie A giants Napoli over the summer, and will keep a hold of Benzema for the time being as they know that any of their preferred targets will not come easy.
Madrid are known to be keen on Liverpool striker Luis Suarez, but with Liverpool still reluctant to sell a move to bring him to the Spanish capital could be tough to follow through.
At present Real’s only recognised out-and-out strikers are Benzema, Jesse, and Alvaro Morata, who himself has been linked with making an exit from the club too.
