Man City Win Race to Sign £2m Argentine Youngster

Etihad Stadium side to bring in young midfield talent.

Check in to Fulham vs Manchester City

Man City have reportedly won the race to sign Argentine midfielder Bruno Zuculini according to Sports Direct News.

Etihad Stadium boss Manuel Pellegrini has apparently won the race to sign the young central midfielder having agreed a £2m deal with Buenos Aires side Racing Club with the likes of Man United, Barcelona, Juventus and Malaga all said to have an interest in the former Argentine Under 20 international.

This source states that Zuculini is seen as a long term replacement for England international Gareth Barry, who is currently enjoying a loan spell at Everton.

However Zuculini has a fair few central midfield talents to overcome before he makes it into the Man City first team set-up with talents such as Yaya Toure, Fernandinho, Jack Rodwell and Javi Garcia in Pellegrini’s armoury.

It is possible that having secure Zuculini’s signature that the 20 year old midfielder will be loaned back to Racing Club in the short term to gain some much needed senior footballing experience.
