The Scot has scouted Atletico Madrid youngster Koke and will hope that a £30m bid will be sufficient to convince the Vicente Calderon side to cash-in on the Spanish international.

Only Cesc Fabregas has provided more La Liga assists this term and given that Atletico Madrid are well known for selling their top talents Moyes will hope he can lure Koke to follow in the footsteps of keeper David de Gea, who also left the Spanish capital side to join the Premier League side.

David Moyes has been told that if he wants to sign Borussia Dortmund’s attacking midfielder Marco Reus then he’ll have to shell out £40m, which is believed to be the 24 year old’s release clause price-tag.

Having seen Dortmund fall way off the Bundesliga pace and only just scrape through to the last 16 of the Champions League the German international may be tempted by a move to Old Trafford.

Reus would offer a very real goal threat and an ideal link between midfield and attack, the former Borussia Monchengladbach man scored 18 goals and provided 11 assists in his first campaign at Dortmund and has netted a dozen already this term in all competitions.

Man United are also ready to make a bid for in-form Southampton midfielder Adam Lallana.

Lallana has entire professional career at the South Coast side and even though he is tied to a long term deal, that ends in 2018, he would surely jump at the chance of a high-profile move to Old Trafford, a move that would only improve his chances of a continued presence in Roy Hodgson’s squad.

Lallana would add a real goal threat from the midfield whilst also being a solid intelligent distributor of the ball, this source quotes his value at around £15m and that seems a very fair price to pay for the St Mary’s star.

Adam Lallana has racked up 241 appearances for Southampton and has scored 54 goals in the process.
