Man United are hope to tempt Borussia Dortmund midfielder Ilkay Gundogan into moving to Old Trafford in January according to Sports Direct News.

However Man United hope to convince Gundogan to move to the Premier League with the guarantee of regular first team action something that could be tougher to secure at Real Madrid given the presence of the likes of Luka Modric, Xabi Alonso, Sami Khedira and Asier Illaramendi in Carlo Ancelotti’s midfield pecking order.
Moyes has seen Tom Cleverley, Marouane Fellaini and Anderson struggle for form and Michael Carrick and Darren Fletcher struggle with injuries and illness and Gundogan could well be an ideal addition to his Man United squad.

The Man United boss may well be looking to spend big in the January transfer window in order to help in a further push for major honours in his first season in charge.
Gundogan has been a big success since moving from Nurnberg to Dortmund and the box to box performer was a pivotal player in the club’s run to the Champions League final last term.
