Its Hull v Chelsea, Newcastle v Manchester City & Stoke v Liverpool as Paddy Power announce they will offer odds of 8/1 if Chelsea, Man City & Liverpool all win their respective games this weekend, which would normally come in at 3/1!
The jovial firm announced the news on Friday morning as it prepared itself for another busy weekend in the Premier League, and with all three teams in with a superb chance of winning their games, they are preparing themselves for a punting frenzy.
How to pick up your 8/1 treble:
Chelsea head to the KC Stadium in a fine spell of form to face Steve Bruce’s Hull side, which has seen them rise to third in the league following three straight wins, including victory over title challengers Liverpool (KO 12:45 SAT).
Jose Mourinho’s side suddenly look very realistic title contenders following a relatively slow start, and the return to form of players such as Eden Hazard, David Luiz and Oscar has come at just the right time as the side looks to kick on to mount a serious challenge for the title this month.
The Blues should have far too much for Hull, who have lost to Liverpool and Manchester United in the last few weeks. Precictably, Chelsea are heavy favourites at 8/13 to win this game, which forms the first part our our 8/1 treble.
The second game in the treble is Manchester City to beat Newcastle, which is the early kickoff on Sunday as Manuel Pellegrini looks to continue his side’s superb run of form, winning 8 out of their last 9, and thrashing West Ham 6-0 in the Capital One Cup midweek (14:05 SUN).
The Citizens have steamrolled all before them in recent months and its not hard to see why they are many people’s favourites for the Premiership title this season.
The side looks unstoppable at the moment, and visit a Newcastle side who are having something of a wobble and have lost two on the bounce.
City are heavy favourites to once again take all three points at 8/13, but this will be enhanced if we include them in our Paddy Power treble.
The final game of the treble is Liverpool to beat Stoke at the Britannia Stadium, which is the late afternoon kickoff on Sunday (16:10 SUN).
Mark Hughes’s side are in something of a mess at the moment with only one win in their last five, and if we consider Liverpool have thumped Tottenham 5-0 away in the last month its clear to see why Brendan Rogers’s side are clear favourites to take all the points in this one.
The Reds had a comfortable win over Hull in their last game in the Premiership and there’s no doubt that anything less than three points on Sunday would be something of a shock.
It should make for a very interesting weekend of football, with Paddy Power’s price of 8/1 for Chelsea, Man City and Liverpool all to win a real stand out price.
Don’t forget its only 3/1 elsewhere, which makes this one the highlight of another action packed Premiership coupon.
