Man United are ready to make an offer of £24m for Borussia Dortmund star Ilkay Gundogan according to the Daily Mirror.

The 23 year old box to box performer has been out with a back injury since August but is still very much a David Moyes target and is perhaps another player who is looking to leave the Westfalenstadion.
Dortmund saw Mario Gotze move to Bayern Munich last summer and Robert Lewandowski has agreed a deal to follow suit at the end of the season and boss Jurgen Klopp may be unable to prevent further exits given his side’s struggles this term.
Bayern Munich are running away with the Bundesliga and both Borussia Monchengladbach and Bayer Leverkusen have also overtaken Dortmund in the table whilst the club only just scrapped into the last 16 of the Champions League.
Gundogan has held off on signing a new Dortmund deal and has just 18 months to run on his current deal and as such £24m may be a bid the German side would consider.
David Moyes could well do with freshening up his midfield in view of his side’s struggles this term with the likes of Tom Cleverley, Anderson and new signing Marouane Fellaini all failing to impress.
