CaughtOffside understands that Blues boss Mourinho is ready to sell Juan Mata after running out of patience with the Spanish international and will look to garner at least £25m from the 25 year old’s sale but will not consider offers from Premier League rivals.

Though Mata finished the last two campaigns as Chelsea’s Player of the Year Mourinho initially preferred to use Eden Hazard and Oscar as his creative midfield talents and when the former Valencia man has been used he has failed to hit the heights that saw him play a pivotal role in the West London club’s Champions League and Europa League successes.

PSG and Atletico Madrid are both keen on Mata but are said to prefer a loan move until the summer before completing a permanent switch, though this isn’t a deal that Chelsea are interested in and will hope that an interested party makes a firm offer this month

Kevin De Bruyne is said to be very close to completing a £17m to Wolfsburg, a move that will see Chelsea make a profit of over £10m on a player who has made just two Premier League starts.

The Belgian playmaker had an excellent season out on loan at Werder Bremen last term which explains why a number of Bundesliga side are leading the chase for the 22 year old and a move to Wolfsburg will offer De Bruyne the regular first team football he needs ahead of the 2014 World Cup finals.

Chelsea will also make Demba Ba available this month with Mourinho content to offload the Senegal international he looks to bring in another striking addition.

The former Newcastle United man will be offered to interested clubs for £8m plus, with the likes of Crystal Palace and West Ham both said to be keen on landing the proven Premier League marksman to help in their push to steer clear of the drop with Demba Ba said to be keen on remaining in London.
