White Hart Lane side look to bring in much needed attacking reinforcements.
Tottenham boss Tim Sherwood is said to be looking to bring in striking reinforcements this month with the White Hart Lane side set to see Jermain Defoe leave the club in late February and Emmanuel Adebayor linked with a move to the United Arab Emirates according to Sports Direct News.

Sherwood has shown great faith in Togo international Adebayor, ushering the former Arsenal man back into the first team fold after a lengthy spell out under Andre Villas-Boas. Now it appears that UAE outfit Al-Ain are readying a bid for the 29 year old.
With both Roberto Soldado and Erik Lamela struggling for goals Sherwood has been alerted by the availability of Juventus pair Mirko Vucinic and Fabio Quagliarella though it’s his interest in West Brom forward Shane Long that could perhaps be the most likely of the trio of talents to complete a move to the North London club this month.
Though Tottenham have done well since Sherwood took the reins they have still managed to net just 26 goals in 21 Premier League fixtures, far below the total achieved by over sides in the upper reaches of the top tier.
Republic of Ireland international Long could well be the ideal man to bring in to help add more of a threat up front and clearly isn’t a purchase that would cost the earth with Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy perhaps reticent about splashing the cash having forked out £110m plus on new players last summer.
