Everton Look Set to Sign AS Monaco Forward Lacina Traore

Goodison Park side look to hijack West Ham bid for giant striker.

Everton are lining up a move to hijack West Ham’s bid to sign AS Monaco forward Lacina Traore according to the Daily Mail.

The Toffees are looking to bring in a fresh attacking option having elected to sell Nikica Jelavic to Hull City and will look to beat West Ham in a move to bring in 6ft 8in forward Traore on a loan deal.

The 23 year old moved to AS Monaco earlier this month in an £8.6m deal but is to be loaned out by the Ligue 1 side and a move to in-form Everton may well prove more tempting than a switch to relegation threatened West Ham.

Roberto Martinez will be looking to bring in an able back-up to loaned in Chelsea man Romelu Lukaku and Traore could prove the ideal cost effective short term option.
