With Jermain Defoe set to move to MLS side Toronto FC and both Roberto Soldado and Erik Lamela struggling to find the back of the net it makes sense that White Hart Lane boss Tim Sherwood would target another attacking addition and a move for experienced Macedonian Pandev makes sense.
The 30 year old has spent over a decade in Italy, plying his trade with Inter Milan, Lazio and Napoli but may be interested in a fresh challenge.
Pandev has had a solid season thus far this term, netting six goals from 12 Serie A starts, but could perhaps be a player Rafa Benitez looks to offload with the Spaniard targeting Jorginho and Michel Bastos, currently at Verona and Al-Ain respectively.
Tottenham are pushing for a top four finish but their total of just 26 goals in 21 Premier League fixtures is a serious impediment to such ambitions, hence the need to boost their attack.
Prior to his move to Napoli Pandev scored a total of 68 goals for previous clubs Inter and Lazio.
